The school topic in 2010 is « Symmetries in Subatomic Systems » (see complete list of lectures )

DATES
Participants are expected to arrive in Lacanau on Sunday, 26th September 2010 before dinner. Lectures will start at 9 a.m. on Monday 27th September and ends on Saturday 2nd at 12h.

LOCATION
The school will take place in “Résidence Azur in Lacanau-Gironde” (close to Bordeaux). This resort is located on the 45th parallel, surrounded by forest and beneficiates from very good weather conditions.

INSCRIPTION FEE AND HOTEL

Participants will be accommodated in boatd single rooms. The hotel services start on Sunday (dinner included) and end on Saturday (lunch included).

Charges (include fees, hotel and meals) amount inclusively to 534 € (for single-room).
These amounts are given as a rough guide.
  • The participants - permanent employees, post-docs and PhD students belonging to CNRS, CEA/DSM and CEA-DAM laboratories should not pay school charges (they will be globally and directly paid by their institutions).
  • Other participants should directly pay during the school.
  • Few grants that cover the school charges (for single room) are also available for scientists that do not belong to above cited institutions. In that case, it is imperative to send a CV including name, age, situation of the candidate, the laboratory and research group as well as a brief report (1/2 page) on the foreseen or current researches countersigned by the person in charge or by the supervisor to Mister Faiçal AZAIEZ-IPN Orsay - 15 rue Georges Clémenceau - BP 1 - F-91406 Orsay, by July 19th at the latest (azaiez@ipno.in2p3.fr).
  • It is possible to come accompanied

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation between the SNCF station of Bordeaux and Lacanau are organized and taken care by the School for the participants arriving on Sunday, September 27th and leaving on Saturday, October 3rd after the lectures.

INSCRIPTION
The limited number of participants allows maintaining quality exchanges. Therefore, those who are interested in the School are invited to register on the Web site of the school before July 19th, 2010. Additional information will be later supplied to the registered persons.
