- The Centre d’Etudes Nucléaires at Bordeaux-Gradignan (CENBG) forms a part of the "EFNUDAT" (European Facilities for Nuclear Data Measurements) consortium which groups 10 partners equipped with nuclear data research infrastructures. Neutron beams cover a wide energy range (0-1GeV) and a total amount of 4000 beam hours is offered to external users for nuclear data measurements in support of waste transmutation studies and design studies for Gen-IV systems that include an objective of producing less waste.
Within this framework, the CENBG offers 3 weeks of beam time per year with its accelerator AIFIRA. See AIFIRA for a description of the CENBG experimental facility and the EFNUDAT site for more details on the consortium.
A post-doc position is opened in the "ACEN" group of the CENBG, as part of a joint research activity of the EFNUDAT consortium.
